Geoff Blackwell
New Zealand publisher and M.I.L.K. creator Geoff Blackwell held a number of senior positions in private and public international publishing companies before establishing PQ Blackwell in 2003. During the course of his career Blackwell has launched a number of internationally best-selling and award-winning projects and has been fortunate to work with some of the world’s leading authors and identities including Nelson Mandela and Archbishop Desmond Tutu, and photographers Elliott Erwitt and Andrew Zuckerman.
In 1999 Blackwell conceived and developed M.I.L.K. – Moments of Intimacy, Laughter and Kinship – a collection of images founded on humanity and was selected from the work of 17,000 photographers from 164 countries. M.I.L.K. has been exhibited at venues around the world, including New York’s Grand Central Terminal, the Sydney Opera House, and London's Science Museum, and M.I.L.K. books have sold three million copies in more than ten languages. |
